A metal plant worker who was fired after refusing to leave his job in a Pennsylvania factory has been arrested and charged with arson.
The Associated Press is reporting the 52-year-old was arrested Tuesday on an arson charge.
The AP’s John Ingold reports that the arrest was announced Wednesday in Harrisburg.
Authorities say the man, who has not been identified, used a lighter to burn a metal grate at the facility in Franklin County, near Philadelphia.
The Pennsylvania Occupational Safety and Health Administration said the facility was put on lockdown and employees were being told to wear masks and stay inside.
